What is the personal training program and who should take part?

Working one-on-one with your own personal trainer is for anyone who struggles with any type of motivation when it comes to sticking with a fitness program or anyone who has medical issues and needs that professional attention and guidance from one of our personal trainers who have the expertise to draw on to accomplish your specific goals. How it works is simple. Book a trainer and he or she will be waiting for you when you arrive. Your personal trainer will then take you through every step of the workout, providing guidance and motivation as you need it so you get the most out of your workout for that day. Choosing from our Fitness Trainers, Master Trainers or Elite Trainers will give you the maximum workout with the least amount of thinking, hassle or risk of injury. Whether you want to lose weight, lose inches, get stronger, increase your metabolism, improve your nutrition, or just improve your overall health and fitness, Scott Newton is committed to providing the right “game-plan” for you to reach your goals. Private 1 on 1 personal fitness training, semi-private partner training and small group classes are options. Dynamic, fun, results-oriented workouts combine resistance training, cardio workouts, plyometrics, core training, functional fitness and flexibility. Clients seek assistance for a myriad of reasons:

As part of the personal training program, pre-testing objectively measures clients strengths and limitations. All clients have the option to receive:

  • Body fat testing
  • Complete fitness assessment
  • Functional Movement Screen
  • Metabolic Profile Testing—find out your resting metabolism, sub-maximal heart rate, lactate threshold, and proper aerobic or cardiovascular training zones.
  • Hydrostatic body fat assessment
  • Nutrition evaluation


Personal training rates start as low as $60 per session but vary depending upon the instructor and number of sessions purchased.
